Reflection on Monday.

  • Talked and looked at handouts that deal with writing.  It reminded me of some work that I had done on writing a few years ago.

    5. Is a Team Player
  • Reading with Purpose:
    1. Look at Pictures
    2. Investigate Text
    3. Ask Questions
    4. Re-Read
  • Writing with Purpose
    1. Describe the Picture
    2. Use Vocabulary
    3. Ask Questions
    4. Try to Answer your Question
  • Saw a presentation on Minecraft I didn't see myself using it because of the time it would require to build a world it might be something students could do as independent study or if you gave them a project but would need to know enough to prevent of fix things that students do that were not appropriate.
  • Played Settlers of Catan-This was a great demonstration of game theory getting students to interact as they learn material.
